Master Akamine – The Way of Gojuru
He was born in 1920, the fourteenth of May
to an ancient line of Samurai, it was their proudest day
they were leaders in their field, in martial arts they trained
for the young Akamine, his life was ordained.

He started at the age of six, his grandfather could see
the young Akamine, the man that he could be
he strived to reach perfection, his efforts could be seen
receiving his first Dan, at the age of sixteen.

Time had passed, his spirit strong, the boy grew to a man
under his Master’s guidance, receiving his fourth Dan
as he travelled from his native land, to the world he longed to see
expanding his horizons, his knowledge was his key.

In 1957 , he travelled to Brazil
determined to spread his art, and show the world his skill
his teachings spread like golden rays, a thousand students knew
the power of Ken Shin Kan, the way of GOJU.

Having reached his highest level in this mortal world we know
