Why train Karate today?
Karate encourages personal development through both physical and mental development.
The simultaneous development of both is of utmost importance. For a developed body without a developed mind has no direction and equally so a developed mind without a developed body has no capability.
Physically, karate can be an effective way of self-defence and combat, which relies on the use of the body’s natural weapons such as hands, feet, elbows, knees etc. In itself, karate is highly dynamic, teaching high levels of technical and co-ordination skills.
It is also an excellent workout, developing agility and muscle core strength.
Mentally, one will gain greater confidence, attain calmness , become disciplined and as a result gain better understanding of oneself. Because only by understanding our selves thoroughly can we be best prepared to lead a successful life.
